We have developed a program to import (daily or weekly) the major Canadian distributors of computer products into a consolidated database, which is then added to our vendor cross-reference within CISPro. Users simply call up the manufacturer part number and the vendors that carry it, along with their current costs are displayed, allowing the user to pick the lowest price (unless other factors such as availability are important). Once the item is imported, an automatic inventory item can be created which then tracks that product throughout the system.

To use this system, you must have access to one or more of the following databases: Ingram, Synnex or Techdata. All have downloads available.

Other manufacturer downloads / updates (from any industry) are also available for a small customization charge. Normal requirements are that they are available in comma-delimited, spreadsheet or .dbf format.
